Abstract

Specifies the requirements for damp-proof course and flashing materials of the sheet membrane, strip and collar type for use in building construction. It does not cover vapour barriers; or mortar-type damp-proof courses.

This Standard specifies requirements for damp-proof course and flashing materials of the sheet membrane, strip and collar type for use in building construction.

NOTES:
1 For mortar-type damp-proof courses, see AS 3700. This Standard does not include vapour barriers.
2 Alternative methods for determining compliance with this Standard are given in Appendix A.
