Abstract

Specifies methods of labelling textile products with fibre content information. This revision clarifies allowable tolerances as well as the components included in the fibre content determination of a textile product.

Scope

This Standard sets out two methods for designating the fibre content of textile products and for supplying this information on made-up products, piece goods and yarns. It also specifies the method to be used for determining the fibre content of a product.
