Provides manufacturers, designers, regulatory authorities, testing laboratories and similar organizations with uniform minimum requirements for the safety, performance and use of twin wall metal flues. These requirements cover twin wall flue and components, excluding flue cowls (refer AS 4566), used for flueing gas appliances with a maximum flue gas temperature of 270°C.

These requirements cover twin wall flue and components, excluding flue cowls (refer AS 4566), used for flueing gas appliances with a maximum flue gas temperature of 270°C.
Flue approved in accordance with these requirements is not suitable for installation where it is inaccessible and subject to continuous condensation.
