Specifies the uniform minimum requirements for manufacturers, designers, regulatory authorities, testing laboratories and similar organizations for the safety, performance and use of gas laundry dryers intended for use with natural gas, town gas, tempered liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied petroleum gas.

These requirements apply to laundry dryers, intended for use with natural gas, town gas, liquefied petroleum gas and tempered liquefied petroleum gas up to a nominal gas consumption of 500 MJ/h.
