Abstract

Specifies a method for establishing the minimum fracture toughness of unplasticized (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pressure pipes.

Scope

This Standard specifies a method for establishing the minimum fracture toughness of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pressure pipes after a specified loading time. Provision is also made for measuring alternative levels of fracture toughness.
