Abstract

Specifies requirements for cord extension sets intended for use at low voltage. It is intended to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS 3100.

Scope

This Standard sets out safety requirements for cord extension sets intended for use at low voltage, including cord extension sets with separable reeling or coiling device.
Cord extension sets incorporating an integral reeling or coiling device are excluded from this Standard and are covered by AS/NZS 3105.
