Abstract
Sets out requirements for the construction and installation of temporary fencing and hoardings.
Scope
This Standard sets out requirements for the construction and installation of temporary fencing and temporary hoardings.
Temporary fencing and temporary hoardings are used -
(a) to provide a visual barrier;
(b) to restrict access to unauthorized persons to worksites, events and restricted areas;
(c) to contain equipment and materials;
(d) to prevent operations within the area from impacting outside; and
(e) to prevent materials, rubbish and debris from escaping from the worksite.
NOTE: This Standard addresses all site-specific requirements (i.e., uneven ground, sloping sites, etc.)
