Scope

This Standard specifies minimum energy performance standard (MEPS) requirements for ice makers and ice storage bins within the scope of AS/NZS 4865.1:2008 and AS/NZS 4865.2:2008.
This Standard further specifies the following:
(a) Energy performance determination.
(b) Storage effectiveness determination.
(c) Definition of high efficiency ice makers.
(d) Application for registration and test report formats.
