This Standard specifies a method for the determination of acid neutralizing capacity (ANCBT) in acid sulfate soil by back titration of excess acid following hydrochloric acid digestion. This determination is used to estimate acid neutralizing capacity (ANC) as part of the acid base accounting (ABA) procedure (AS 4969.14).
